Dredging of sand and gravel
The Mineral Licence and Safety Authority (MLSA) is the responsible authority for dredging of sand and gravel in Greenland, while the Government of Greenland is issuing the approvals for dredging.

Dredging has a long tradition in Greenland, but the materials are mainly used in the local industry. The chart shows the reported amount of sand and gravel dredged per year.
